　　“光盤行動”(“Clear Your Plate”Campaign)建議用餐者吃光盤子里的東西，鼓勵將剩菜打包帶走，以免浪費糧食。現在，中國的不少飯店都開始提供小份菜(smaller dishes)。中國每年浪費的糧食接近全國糧食總產量的1/10，成為世界上最大的人為災害。“光盤行動”提醒人們，在他們大肆浪費糧食的時候，全世界仍然有許多人因為饑餓而死亡。“光盤行動”不再是某一個組織或個人的行動，而是一個關系到人類生存環境的行動，它有利于解決當前資源短缺的狀況。

"Clear Your Plate" Campaign reminds people that when they are wasting foodwithout restraint, there are still many people around the world who have died of starvation. Itis no longer an action of a certain organization or an individual, but one related to the humanliving environment, which can contribute to resolving the current shortage of resources.

　　1.第一句與第二句之間隱含因果關系，可以合譯成一句，用so連接，使邏輯關系更突出。

　　2.在“中國每年浪費的糧食接近全國糧食總產量的1/10”中，主語的中心語是“糧食”，定語“中國每年浪費的”用過去分詞短語wasted in China each year表達;“成為世界上最大的人為災害”可以使用which引導的非限制性定語從句表達，修飾前面整個主句。

　　3.在“全世界仍然有許多人因為饑餓而死亡”中，“全世界仍然有”是某處有某物/人，所以用there be句型表達;“有許多人因為饑餓而死亡”用who引導的定語從句來修飾people，使整個句子結構清晰。

　　4.最后一句含有三個分句，“它有利于解決當前資源短缺的狀況”用which引導的非限制性定語從句，可突出主次，使整個句子邏輯性更強、更連貫。
