第一章應用文寫作

　　建議信

　　結構要點建議信是建議收信人采取某種行動的信件，一般分為三個部分：

　　1. 說明建議的內容;

　　2. 提出建議的原因;

　　3. 指出采納建議的益處。

　　Suppose one of your nieces is going to choose a major for the university. Write a letter in about 100 words to make a suggestion to her. Do not sign your name at the end of the letter, using “Li Ming” instead.Dear Xiaobin,

　　I am glad to know that you are going to enter college and it is my great pleasure to give you some suggestions.

　　As to the ideal major, I think the one which is most suitable for you is teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages. For one thing, with the development of national economy and the deepening of communication among countries, there will be a sustaining need for Chinese teachers around the world. For another, you have a strong interest in Chinese language, history and culture, which is indispensable to the making of a Chinese teacher.

　　If you agree with me and want to turn the above dream into reality, you should learn to make friends with people from different countries. Furthermore, you should try your best to have a good mastery of English.

　　建議信

　　語言注意點這類信可寫給認識的人，也可寫給不認識的人。內容與模式都比較靈活。但總地來說，應言辭懇切，理由充分。

　　What a surprise it is that you are going to take this June�餾 CET��6 since you are only a freshman in Fudan University! Anyway, your courage and efforts are worth praise.

　　To get fully prepared for the test, I think, you need to first enlarge your vocabulary, which is the basis of all parts. Second, you need more exercises, especially exercises of reading comprehension, in order to improve your test skills. Then you should practise writing constantly. You can e�瞞ail your compositions to me and I will correct them for you in time.
