　　With the rapid development of economy, the number of Chinese traveling abroad has increased enormously, which definitely benefits both China and the world.

　　In the past three years, the number of Chinese traveling abroad has kept a high growth rate. In accordance with the figures from a survey, there were about 7.5 million people traveling abroad in 1999. In the year after 1999, the number continued to rise. By 2000, it reached 10 million people. And the year 2001 saw an ever-growing number of 12.1 million people going abroad.

　　The reasons why the number of Chinese traveling abroad grows so rapidly are just as follows. First of all, after 20 years' reform and opening up to the world, our economy has developed very quickly. Now Chinese have more money in their pockets than before. They can do whatever they want. Moreover, with more spare money in their hands, many Chinese would like to better the quality of their lives by going out to see different people, to hear different ideas and experience different cultures. And traveling abroad is just one way on the list to meet their demands.

　　From the above analysis, we can easily draw the conclusion that such an increase in the number of people traveling abroad is reasonable and will continue to prove on a rise.

　　As an updated product, the invention and production of automobiles have greatly pushed forward the civilized development of human society. With the development of modern society, automobiles seem to have become indispensable to the people's daily life. For the time being, many Chinese people who have made their fortune are able to afford them. But in my view point, the number of the automobiles should be strictly controlled by the concerned agency of the government.

　　First, automobiles may take up so much time and space. China has been celebrated for its population with large areas as a developing country. Despite its large areas, it still seems narrow in space because of its population. If each person has his or her own car, you'll find that you're meeting with traffic jams in rush hours instead of going to work on schedule. You may believe that riding on your bike is faster than driving your car. On driving it to the supermarket, where there is no enough space to park, you may complain that how horrible manufactures have produced so many automobiles.

　　Second, automobiles have brought about the problem of the pollution, which seems to be a symbol of modern civilization. However, automobiles are giving out a great deal of smog every day, which has a deep influence on not only human health but also physical environment. If each person steers his car at the same time, you can imagine that how much smog a car will discharge. Therefore, some actions should be taken immediately to decrease the number of the automobiles. Otherwise, the world will become crowded and smoggy in the near future.

　　After all, automobiles have so many advantages. It's convenient for us to travel, to go shopping, to go to work and so forth. It can also be appreciated by way of exhibition. If the scientists were to create a kind of automobile that gives rise to no air pollution, I believe that private cars in our country should be encouraged and advocated.

　　It is imperative that drastic measures should be taken to end this thorny situation, such as enacting related law to reinforce our supervisal mechanism to avoid the behavior of kicking the ball when something bad happen and promoting social entities to regain one of Chinese traditional virtues, which is called “who would enter the hell if I wouldn’t”,that means, undoubtedly, to learn to be responsible for the blunder means sensible unflinchingness.
