　　As is unfolded in the picture above, we can see that the man on the right looks rather upset, saying that he is tired and he wants to give up climbing the mountain, while the other person on the left ,with a bottle of water in his hand, tells the right man to continue climbing. The drawing sets us into thinking its far-reaching implications.

　　The purpose of the drawing is to show us the significance of persistence. Actually, the symbolic meanings subtly conveyed should be taken seriously. First and foremost, it is universally held that persistence is an essential quality in our life. In face of seemingly insurmountable challenges or difficulties, there is no doubt that it plays a crucial role in determining whether we can turn failure into victory. In the second place, we all share an idea that when one person holds fast to his dream, even during tough times, the miracles will eventually begin to happen because the world always makes way for those persevering persons with strong will and great endeavor. Last but not least, it is no disputable that the past 30 years has witnessed an increasing emphasis on this virtue by the public. According to a survey published recently online, more than 80 percents of the people, those who succeed in particular, attributed their success to the spirit of insistence. In the case of Zhang haidi, without the quality of this spirit, she could never have attained such great achievements.

　　Considering all the points discussed above, we can easily recognize the significance of the non-stop efforts in pursuit of our dreams. There is a proverb saying that constant dripping wears away a stone which tells us how important persistence is to be successful. Only in this way, can we attain our goals and achieve the final success in the process of challenging ourselves.
