Additionally, industrial emissions from factories, power plants, and vehicles release greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide, methane, and nitrous oxide into the atmosphere. These gases trap heat and cause the Earth's temperature to rise.

　　The effects of climate change are far-reaching and severe. Rising temperatures lead to melting ice caps and glaciers, which contribute to sea-level rise. This can lead to flooding of coastal areas and displacement of communities.
