各位正在準備研究生入學(xué)考試的同學(xué)，請注意!在考研英語大綱最近的一次變化中，詞匯部分發(fā)生重大的改動。在原有5500左右的單詞中刪除了58個單詞，新增59個。在近幾年的考題中，對新增單詞的考點設(shè)置較多，考查頻次較高。因此，這些新增內(nèi)容不容忽視。同學(xué)們在備考的過程中，一定要重點記憶這些單詞!

　　1. accustom vt. 使習(xí)慣于

　　【助記】accustom=ac(加強)+ custom(風(fēng)俗，習(xí)慣)

　　【用法】~ oneself to doing/do sth.使習(xí)慣于做某事

　　【同義詞】adjust, acquaint, familiarize

　　【例句】I live near an airport and passing planes can be heard night and day. So I have to accustom myself to the noise of the planes.

　　我往在飛機場附近，日夜能聽到過往的飛機聲，所以我不得不使自己習(xí)慣這飛機的聲音。

　　2. alienate vt. 使疏遠，使不友好;轉(zhuǎn)移(資產(chǎn)等)

　　【助記】alienate=ali(alter其他的，改變狀態(tài))+en(動詞、名詞后綴)+ate(動詞后綴)

　　【用法】~ sth./sb. from使得某事/某人與疏遠

　　alienate lands轉(zhuǎn)讓土地

　　【派生詞】alien adj. 外國的;相異的，性質(zhì)不同的;不相容的

　　n. 外國人，外僑;外星人

　　【例句】His attempts to alienate the two friends failed because they had complete faith.

　　他離間那兩個朋友的企圖失敗了,因為他們彼此完全信任。

　　3. allegiance n. 忠誠，效忠;擁戴;臣服

　　【用法】~ to sb./sth.對某人/某機構(gòu)效忠

　　【同義詞】loyalty, faithfulness

　　【例句】You have seen duty and allegiance in the determined faces of our soldiers.

　　你們從美軍士兵堅毅的表情中看到了責(zé)任和忠誠。

　　4. ape v. 無尾猿，類人猿

　　n. [脊椎] 猿;傻瓜;模仿者

　　vt. 模仿;搶臺詞

　　adj. 狂熱的 (俚語)

　　【用法】to ape another's style of writing模仿別人的文體

　　5. archaeology n. 考古學(xué);古代文物(總稱)

　　【助記】archaeology=archaeo(原始的，古老的)+logy(學(xué)科)

　　6. bail vi. & n 保釋;幫助擺脫困境

　　【用法】bail out 跳傘;保釋;舀出

　　on bail 保釋;保釋中

　　【同義詞】mainprise n.[法]保釋，保釋人;保釋金;杓

　　help someone out vt. [法]保釋，幫助某人脫離困境;往外舀水

　　【派生詞】bailable adj. 可交保的;可保釋的

　　bailment n.寄托，委托;保釋;寄托買賣

　　bailor 寄托人;[法] 委托人

　　【例句】Her family paid $500 to bail her out.

　　她家里付了500美元把她保釋出來。
